Description
The Blue Warehou is also known as Tasmanian trevally, snotty trevally, sea bream, warehou, snotty, trevalla, trevally, black trevally and Snotties. Blue warehou are a deep bodied fish their body colour is dark metallic blue green along the upper back fading down the flanks to a silver white belly area. Blue Warehou have scattered blotches on the flanks that fade after capture a dark spot is visible above the pectoral fin to the lateral line. The pectoral fin is long extending to the anal fin. Blue Warehou can grow to 3kg however most captures are around the 500g mark.
